With two catering service units, Show Thyme Catering is able to provide for multiple needs of a film production. Whether it's a 2nd Unit or photo gallery shoot we can be your one stop shop for all your catering needs.
After a decade of experience outside of the Film Industry, it gave me the foundations necessary to excel on a catering truck. In 2006 I found my true passion and proceeded to hone my skills as a film chef. By 2010 I had procured my own catering truck and so began the path that led me to today. With numerous shows under my belt I am fully capable of handling any situation film and television can throw at me. Allow me to cater your next production and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

A typical Show Thyme breakfast will consist of a breakfast buffet for those on the go. You can have you choice of scrambled eggs, hash browns, pancakes, beans in tomato sauce and a quinoa-vegetable medley. Or choose to have a bowl of hot steel cut oats with a selection of dried fruits and nuts or variety of cold cereals. Grab a fresh baked muffin or pastry while you have a coffee or take your time and make a juice from a variety of fruits and vegetables using a commercial-grade juicer.
Head to the catering trucks service window and order yourself a custom omelette. Look for the chef's special using quality local products.
There is nothing standard when it comes to these film truck staples. Just ask our chefs to create whatever version of these classics you'd like.
Each lunch service will consist of a variety of choices. You will always be provided with 2-3 protein options as well as a vegan/vegetarian choice, 1-2 starch dishes and 2 vegetable sides and of course, a minimum of 5 salads, a soup with fresh baked bread and a delicious selection of desserts will always be passionately prepared and presented in a buffet format.
A whole AAA NY strip loin coated in fresh herbs and garlic and roasted to perfection. Carved in front of your eyes and served with a delicious Demi-Glace.
Served with a lemon and dill creme fraiche, this salmon dish is incredibly moist throughout while maintaining its traditional flaky characteristic
Braised in a traditional tomato sauce and adding mushroom and white wine, this dish has a rustic feel with an incredible depth of flavour.
This vegetarian dish consists of polenta rounds layered with fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese and topped with a hearty tomato and vegetable sauce.
A seasonal soup, selection of salads and desserts are prepared daily and always changing to reflect a crews tastes and preferences.
